SSE Satellite Facilitator Training Program

    The SSE Satellite Facilitator Training Program is a course built to provide you with insights and support in the field of facilitation. You will be equipped with SSE's learning and teaching methods and be able to effectively support an SSE facilitator across a range of cohorts within a learning environment.

    Our Satellite Facilitator Training Program has been created as a collection of six microcredential modules.

    To achieve your Credly Digital Badge, you must complete all six modules and the short task at the end of the program.

     

    Program Essentials

    • Assessment: Short reflection task to achieve the badge

    • Learning Hours: 12-16

    Learning Outcomes

    On completion of this course, you will be able to:

    • Demonstrate an understanding of the role and the responsibilities of a facilitator.
    • Obtain an understanding of elementary theories and techniques used in facilitation.
    • Develop an understanding of managing different learning styles and cohorts.
    • Demonstrate simple and effective facilitation techniques.
    • Identify the key components of a safe learning space.

     

     
     
    Program Completion

    Once participants successfully complete the SSE Satellite Facilitator Training Program, they will receive a digital microcredential badge that identifies their specific learning credentials and micro-skill that can be shared via LinkedIn and in their CV.

    Verifiable micro-skills are embedded into the badge’s meta-data and accessible to employers seeking candidates with the relevant skills.

    Lead, Facilitation and Engagement

    As Lead, Facilitation and Engagement, Frank works with the Innovation, Enterprise and Engagement team to design and deliver SSE’s signature programs. He facilitates online and in-person workshops that demystify and develop the traits and capabilities required to be a successful entrepreneur and change-maker.
